ELIGIBILITY: Open only to INDIVIDUALS, 18 OR OLDER, WHO ARE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND CANADA EXCEPT FOR QUEBEC. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees (and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Informa Markets Manufacturing LLC, doing business as Informa Markets (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, dealers and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 10, 2023 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on February 2, 2023 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, there are two (2) ways to enter: (1) DesignCon Attendance: Attend DesignCon 2023 at any time from January 31-February 2, 2023 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA, to receive one (1) entry into the giveaway. (2) Or, Email Entry: To enter without filling out the survey, click here and provide your name, email address and date of birth during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address/household for the entire Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries will be void. Entries generated by script, mechanical, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

DRAWING: There will be two (2) potential Prize winners, who will be selected in a random drawing held on or about February 1, 2023, from all eligible entries received for the drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the drawing. Potential winners will be notified by email or mail and may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and, unless prohibited, Publicity Release within seven (7) days of the date of issuance. If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner does not respond to the initial notification within the time period stated, return all required documents within the time period stated, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner selected for the drawing at issue. If a winner is a resident of Canada, he/she will also be required to answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question administered via the telephone. Failure to answer the question correctly within the time period specified, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue.

PRIZES: Each of the two (2) Prize winners will receive one (1) US $1000 Amazon gift card. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): US$1000 each. Total ARV: US$2,000.00. Terms and conditions apply to use of gift card. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All federal, state and local taxes (including any income and withholding taxes), if any, and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. PUBLICITY GRANT: Each winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled messages, notifications, mail, surveys or entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any giveaway-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the giveaway. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this giveaway or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the giveaway or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the giveaway should any portion of the giveaway be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, service agencies, independent contractors, advertising and promotion agencies, web hosting and service and fulfillment providers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in this giveaway. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.

PRIVACY DISCLOSURES: Sponsor may use cookies and web beacons to collect and process information relating to each entrant’s participation in the sweepstake. The information collected by means of these technologies is used for purposes of administration of the sweepstake. In addition, such information, including each entrant’s contact information, may be shared with third party sponsors of the sweepstake (if any).
