Explore DesignCon’s annual Welcome Reception where all passholders can enjoy complimentary cocktails, bites, games, and more. From Newcomers to Industry Legends, We Celebrate You

Pick up an alumni ribbon to showcase your DesignCon status at the registration desks or at the DesignCon 30^th Anniversary Lounge (booth 1538). Ribbons range from first-timer status to 30-year alumni and can be self-affixed to your DesignCon badge to proudly promote your status.

Look Back in Time with 1995’s Technical Papers & Schedule

Before ZIP files and PDFs, DesignCon printed its technical papers and daily schedules for attendees. Courtesy of long-time DesignCon attendee/speaker/Technical Program Committee (TPC) member and legendary Samtec engineer Istvan Novak, DesignCon will have its original 1995 handbook and a QR code to download a scanned copy for your review of what were the biggest technical papers and breakthroughs from the year.

30th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt

Have some fun while you explore DesignCon! Download the event mobile app, sign into or create your My Show Planner, scroll down to the “Scavenger Hunt” button at the bottom of the app homepage, and enter codeword answers for each clue listed. Each clue directs you to find the codeword at a specific location at the event or shared during an experience, like a keynote (hint, hint), so explore and enter the answers as you find them. Codes will be one word with no spaces, no special characters, and all in lowercase. As players move through the scavenger hunt, they’ll be able to pick up DesignCon goodies and gifts; Those who answer all the questions correctly will be entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

In addition to what’s noted above and below, DesignCon team members will randomly present 30 gift cards in-person ranging from $30 to $300 January 28-30, at the Santa Clara Convention Center and adjoining Hyatt Regency spaces associated with the show.
