  In the PARALLEX® system multiple BER tester modules can be used per setup. Any channel count is allowed, for e.g. 4 channel QSFP BER test. The comfortable GUI is able to combine up to 24 BERT to a whole system. Applications like Active Optical Cable (AOC), QSFP or 40GbE/100GbE require to test several channels simultaneously. Crosstalk and sensitivity are important parameters to investigate. Overall BER and individual channel BER can be tested. By default the phase correlation is random. Adjustment of the phase can optionally be done by use of LUCEO’s Phase Shifter.

• Electrical BERT EBERT-5

  This is only one example of the amount of our modules. Our 10G Serial BERT is a Bit Error Rate Test module that plugs in to the PARALLEX™ Chassis. Electrical BER Tester can generate and receive electrical data from 8.5 Gb/s (option: 8.0Gb/s) up to 11.3 Gb/s. User programmable PRBS patterns can be changed via an easy to use GUI.   TCR® is a sputtered thin film resistor copper foil that is used for embedding in-trace resistors into multilayer PWB’s. • Vectra® and Zenite® LCP

  Vectra® and Zenite® LCP, are inherently flame resistant, UL 94 V-0 and halogen-free. The unique combination of high temperature resistance (up to 340C, short term, for lead-free soldering), high flow, low mold shrinkage, high stiffness, excellent dimensional stability and a wide range of dielectric properties make Vectra® and Zenite® LCP a favorite choice to meet the future trends of miniaturization in the electronics industry. These materials allow high-precision molding for applications such as connectors and sockets with high pin density and ultra-thin part geometries down to 0.1mm wall thickness.

• Celanex® XFR® and Celanex® 16 Series PBT

  Celanex® XFR® polyester series deliver a “drop-in” option for use in eco-friendly components. Glass-reinforced grades are available with UL94 V-0 ratings down to 0.4 mm. The Celanex® 16 Series PBT flame retardant grades offer high temperature resistance, low CTE, excellent dimensional stability, and exhibit excellent long-term resistance to hot/humid environments, and have a high CTI (up to 600 volts depending on the grade).

• Fortron® PPS

  Fortron® PPS meets the UL94 V-0 flammability rating without the addition of flame retardants and has temperature resistance up to 270C (short term) for lead-free soldering. Fortron PPS exhibits an excellent balance of properties; it is stiff, strong, hard and tough, and has outstanding chemical and oxidative resistance with a high continuous-use temperature for applications where exacting electrical properties are required. Fortron PPS flows well in molding to fill long, thin and complex shapes and is ideal for use in applications where exacting electrical properties are required.

Wurth Electronics Midcom offers two libraries: the Standard Library and the Basic Library. The Basic Library is similar to other LTspice transformer models present in the industry. It can also be imported into and converted for use in other SPICE programs. The Standard Library includes all of the parameters of the Basic Library models, and additionally model parasitics and saturation effects, making them accurate, while at the same time quickly simulating.

  Wurth Electronics has joined the Wireless Power Consortium and has released a series of Wireless power chokes. The wireless power charging coil series, WE-WPC, includes two different components. One in size 3737 and one in size 5555. Both are Qi compliant and evaluated and released by several IC manufacturers. Characteristics are low DCR, litzwire and highest Q value on the market. The aim of the Wireless Power Consortium is to work on the development of the so-called "QI standard", a standard for wireless charging stations of mobile electronic devices.
