The mission of Ethernet Alliance is to promote industry awareness, acceptance, and advancement of technology and products based on existing and emerging IEEE 802 Ethernet standards and their management. Ethernet Alliance will provide resources to establish and demonstrate multivendor interoperability of IEEE 802 Ethernet products and their management. The Alliance is open to all constituencies and stakeholders of IEEE 802 Ethernet. For IT professionals, Ethernet Alliance members work toward equipment interoperability across vendors. Component and system vendors gain efficient product development and decreased time to market. To learn more about the benefits of membership and what it means to be a member of Ethernet Alliance, visit www.ethernetalliance.org.

The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) mission is to accelerate the growth and increase the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor industry by fostering a more effective fabless ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. It addresses the challenges within the supply chain including IP, EDA/design, wafer manufacturing, test and packaging to enable industry-wide solutions. Providing a platform for meaningful global collaboration, the Alliance identifies and articulates market opportunities, encourages and supports entrepreneurship, and provides members with comprehensive and unique market intelligence. Members include companies throughout the supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe. http://www.gsaglobal.org

The IBIS Open Forum is the industry organization responsible for the management of the IBIS specification. The Open Forum meets every three weeks by teleconference. Membership is open to all interested companies. The Open Forum also holds IBIS summits several times per year around the world, to give its members an opportunity to meet face-to-face and exchange technical information and elect officers. Summit announcements and presentations are posted on IBIS's Web site; summit activities are also financed through member dues and sponsorships. For more information, visit www.eigroup.org/IBIS.

The International Disk Drive Equipment and Materials Association (IDEMA) is an international not-for-profit trade association that represents the $22 billion HDD industry and its infrastructure. Founded in 1986, IDEMA provides more than 500 corporate and individual members worldwide with trade shows, technical conferences, symposia, education classes, networking events, and an active international standards program. Bogatin Enterprises Bogatin Enterprises sets the standard in signal integrity training, specializing in making complex topics easy to understand while strengthening engineering intuition. Live classes, Web-based training, and publications illustrate how rules of thumb, approximations, and commercially available simulation tools can be used to quickly and efficiently solve signal integrity problems. TDR and VNA instruments are leveraged with analysis tools to show how to fully characterize and "hack" into interconnects to identify their limitations and optimize performance. For more information on Bogatin Enterprises' courses and content, visit www.BeTheSignal.com.
