As Altera's vice president of product and corporate marketing, Mr. Hu is responsible for managing the product and corporate marketing organizations. Prior to his current role at Altera, he was the vice president of Technical Services. Mr. Hu joined Altera in September 2003 from LinCom Wireless, Inc. where he was co-founder, president and chief operating officer. He served in a variety of engineering and management roles at LinCom and at Hughes Aircraft Company, where he started his career. Mr. Hu earned his BSEE degree from Rice University, his MSEE degree from the University of Southern California and his MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
