Almost everyone involved with electrical circuits will spend some time dealing with noise - either finding its source to fix it or reducing its impact on measurements. Also signal loss continues to be a significant challenge for designers of high speed links. This seminar will provide a brief introduction into arbitrary FIR filter theory, design, and application for dealing with noise and signal loss.
