Pantheon is your RF or mixed-RF design environment's solution. RF design in Pantheon is accomplished with simple shapes or intelligent models. Primitive shapes can be converted to intelligent area fill at any time, or users can use an intelligent "Route Parametric Comp" mode to automatically place industry approved RF model elements using parametric stripline and micro-striplines and bends with the click of a mouse. In addition, a library of intelligent RF models is provided for use with bidirectional interfaces to Ansoft HFSS, Agilent EEsof ADS, and Applied Wave Research Microwave Office.

Pantheon provides easy creation of dielectric layers, ink resistors, blind/buried pins and vias, scalable artwork, and parametric breakouts. Parametric ink resistor creation (rectangle, serpentine, top hat, and more) is simplified with an Ink Resistor Generator, while Pantheon allows more than one metal type to be routed on a single layer and output separately. Because Pantheon includes dielectrics in the board's physical layers, each design is ensured to be error-free using the industry's only reliable double-verification process.

Pantheon's PCB/Hybrid/RF layout design system offers full artwork and manufacturing checks, using Electrical Rule Checks (ERCs) and Manufacturing Rule Checks (MRCs) that are performed after the layout passes standard Design Rule Checks (DRCs). The verification process first generates a net list from the artwork and runs a comparison to the layout. The resulting report includes net mismatches, shorts, opens, extra or missing pins, and extra vias.

Following ERCs are the Manufacturing Rule Checks (MRCs). These customizable rules check clearance, coverage, and power/wire violations from the manufacturing standpoint. Pantheon's manufacturing verification contains a complete matrix of object clearance checks, including verification of annular rings, antipads, and soldermask coverage.
