- MXL-PHY-MIPISemiconductor IP
The MXL-PHY-MIPI is a high-frequency low-power, low-cost, source-synchronous, physical Layer compliant with the MIPI Alliance Standard for D-PHY. Although it is primarily used for connecting cameras and display devices to a cost processor, it can also be used for many other portable applications. Mixel is the first IP provider to have this IP silicon-proven. High-Speed signals have a low voltage swing, while Low-Power signals have large swing. High-Speed functions are used for High-Speed Data traffic while low power functions are mostly used for control.
- Mobile Digital Display Interface (MDDI)Semiconductor IP
The MDDI is a high speed serial interface that offers lower power consumption and reduces the number of wires required to connect digital controller to LCD. The MXL-TXRX-MDDI transceiver is a VESA compliant client transceiver allowing bidirectional transfer of video, audio and control signals between the host processor and display terminal. Mixel is the first IP provider to make available a silicon-proven MDDI transceiver. The Mixel IP uses extremely low current in the Hibernation mode and thus considerably extends the battery life. The MXL-TXRX-MDDI is designed in digital CMOS technology.
- MXL-SRDS-4254Semiconductor IP
The MXL-SRDS-4254 is a CML SerDes that operates from 1.0 to 4.25 Gbps. It is highly programmable while dissipating low power. Some of the programmable features are: TX pre-emphasis, RX post-equalization, On-chip RX and TX termination (50, 60 or 75 ƒÇ), Voltage swing at high speed serial outputs (175 to 800 mVpp), and Data-rate to Reference Clock frequency ratio (4, 5, 8, 10, 16 or 20). It is targeted to meet the PHY requirements for many applications such as Network-backplanes, SONET-OIF, DVI, Gigabit Ethernet, PCI-Express, SATA.The MXL-SRDS-4254 incorporates an Rx post¡Vequalization that enables lower BER & longer distance transmission.
