A New Physical Mechanism-Based Jitter Classification Method and Its Applications
Tuesday, February 3 | 11:05 am – 11:45 am
Mike Li, Principle Architect and Distinguished Engineer, Altera
This new jitter-classification method is based on physical mechanisms rather than distribution function. We develop the physical properties and associated distribution models in empirical or analytical form. Next, we study the relationship between conventional statistical DJ– and RJ–based jitter method and the new physical mechanism-based method to establish a mapping function to unify both methods. Finally, we apply this method to an experimental device and show its value and advantages.
