2007 Event Summary

DesignCon 2007 Conference and Exhibition Closes with Top Vendors, Industry Leaders, and Record-Breaking Numbers!
With more than 130 exhibitors, 100 educational sessions, and 5,000 registered attendees, DesignCon 2007 brought together thousands of executives, managers, and engineers. Silicon intellectual property, the future of engineering education, model-based DFM, emerging challenges, 65 nm technology, triple play, and globalization were just a few of the pressing issues discussed at the event.

DesignCon Paper Awards
DesignCon Paper Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the educational goals of the DesignCon program. Nine paper awards were given on the merits of the written document as well as on the quality of the document's presentation at the event.

DesignVision Awards
The third annual DesignVision Awards were announced in a ceremony at DesignCon 2007. DesignVision honors were presented in nine categories and were selected based on innovation, uniqueness, market impact, customer benefits, and value to society.
