Applied Simulation Technology provides modeling, extraction and simulation solutions for PCB and IC design. The software is designed for Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and EMI applications. The focus this year at Design Con will be on the modeling and simulation of EMI for PCB and IC packaging. The ApsimSPE simulator uses new approaches to give Engineers the insight into the sources and reasons for EMI issues. High frequency current, voltage and Zo distributions maps are used as visual aids to detect the problem areas.
