Considerations for Selecting the Right IP
SoC developers need to consider a variety of criteria in evaluating a potential IP vendor. For example, does the IP provider invest in verifying the design in every mode? Across every timing corner? With every configuration option? And then validate it in silicon? Take it through certification, interoperability, and compliance testing? These and other aspects are critical to acquiring high-quality IP, which, in turn, ensures that customers have a successful IP experience and deliver competitive products to the market faster.
This keynote will provide the questions to ask and the guidelines and tools necessary to navigate around the potential landmines in selecting the right IP — a decision that could make all the difference in the world for the SoC developer.
