Should students and professors attend as well?
The IEC realizes the importance of bridging academia and industry. The University Grant Program, funded by IEC Corporate Members, provides students and professors the opportunity to attend DesignCon at no cost. Students and professors are asked to complete a final report in lieu of conference tuition. Academic Registration

To access the exhibit floor you must be 18 years of age and older.

What is DesignCon?
DesignCon 2008 creates a unique setting for engineers to talk to colleagues about their most challenging design problems. Assembled by leaders in the electronic-design community, DesignCon 2008 offers attendees comprehensive educational programming, including executive keynote addresses and plenary panels, half-day tutorials, technical panels, technical papers, and more than 130 exhibiting companies.

DesignVision Awards recognize technologies, applications, products, and services judged to be the most unique and beneficial to the industry. DesignVision Awards also honor corporations and individuals for innovative contributions and developments that have proven important to society. Winners will be announced at the DesignVision ceremony taking place Tuesday, February 5, at DesignCon. More Details
