Business Forum Panel
Emerging Markets — Tackling Market Opportunities in India
Tuesday, February 5 | 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm
When considering future expansion of the semiconductor and electronics industries, India is clearly the place to be. Can American companies maintain growth and compete for the best employees in India without being perceived as an outside exploiter? What are the success secrets of companies thriving in today's Indian market, and what is the best practice advice for companies considering conducting business in this market?

This business panel of industry-leading luminaries across the semiconductor design chain will address the topic of doing business in emerging markets such as India. Jaswinder Ahuja, corporate vice president and the managing director of Cadence Design Systems India, will lead panelists in a discussion about how American companies can contribute to India's economy by investing directly in establishing R&D design centers, sharing and developing engineering talent, and collaborating with OEMs on designs to provide solutions and technologies that are not currently available in the local market.
