·CAST H264E: Baseline H.264/AVC Video Encoder IP Core
Ready for everything from hand-held video to HDTV, CAST's H.264 video encoder core gives you a small, fast, flexible hardware implementation of the popular Baseline H.264/AVC (Advanced Video Coding) specification. Configure the scalable H264-E for resolutions from QCIF for mobile phones (176 x 120 pixels) at 15 frames per second all the way up to HDTV for Blu-ray DVDs (1920 x 1080 pixels, progressive) at 30 fps. Smaller and more efficient than most available cores, you can implement the H264-E in a wide range of devices: fit up to D1 (720 x 480 pixel standard TV) in low-cost FPGAs, or choose structured or custom ASICs for more demanding applications.
·CAST PCIe-EP: PCI Express Endpoint Controller IP Core
Get advanced desktop and mobile products to market quicker using CAST's technology-independent, PCI-SIG certified PCI Express endpoint controller core. Conforming to Base Specification 1.0a, the core reliably implements all three protocol layers (transaction, data link, and physical) and offers a choice of device link widths—x1 or x4—to better match the bandwidth needs of your specific applications. Its efficient architecture reduces potential latency and expensive memory requirements, while also providing the power management functions critical to mobile devices. A convenient applications interface and standard bus options simplify system integration, while support for the standard PIPE external interface ensures compatibility.
·CAST 32-bit Processors and Subsystem Platforms
Step up from 8051s to high-feature, economical CAST APS 32-bit processors for embedded systems. Choose the high-performance
APS2 or the code-optimized APS3, and get more processing capability while fitting within an FPGA and using relatively
little power. And jumpstart your APS, ARM, or ARC based systems with CAST's proven pre-integrated IP (PIP subsystem platforms.
Providing the basic skeleton needed for complete systems, these platforms include multiple IP cores—bus controllers,
timers, UARTs, SRAM controllers, I/O interfaces, and more—plus the device drivers and boot code needed to start developing
application software right away. They also include embedded real-time operating system (RTOS) support, and a comprehensive
test suite featuring a bus functional simulation model.
