
NEL Frequency Controls is offering ultra low phase noise crystal oscillator solutions up to 2.5 GHz providing designers a superior performance alternative to discrete PLL multiplication approaches. For example, NEL can offer a temperature compensated crystal oscillator solution at 1.6 GHz with phase noise performance of -140 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset. Along with superior phase noise performance, crystal oscillator solutions can be supplied with temperature compensation (+/- 1 ppm ,TCXO) or oven control (+/- 10 ppb, OCXO) stabilities. As an option, a voltage control feature can be added to both the TCXO or OCXO product. These UHF Crystal Oscillators are available in a small, low profile SMD package. Sine, CMOS, DPECL, or LVDS ouputs are available.

Roman Boroditsky has nearly thirty years of experience in designing and developing frequency control products. He has worked with other frequency control companies. Boroditsky earned his MSEE degree from the Minsk Radio-Engineering Institute in Minsk, USSR. He holds two patents and has published numerous articles related to oscillator design and applications.
