As with all of the classes offered by CA Design, Capture is structured specifically for designers, by designers. All of our instructors are actual users of the programs. We teach you how the software really works.
Intro to Capture goes through the entire process. From file structure and library management, through constructing an actual design, to extracting the Netlist and reports you will need to send your schematic on to Layout. We cover all of the basics, and then highlight specific features that the individual user will require for his job.

Robert Chandler is a Senior PCB Designer with well over 20 years experience in a wide variety of fields. He has completed large Main Logic Boards for companies such as Apple Computer, Intel, and Hewlett Packard. He has done small analog boards for Trimble Navigation, TRW, and Lockheed-Martin, has worked for large companies in both direct and contract positions.
Robert has used many software platforms, including Cadence Allegro, OrCAD Layout, and Mentor Graphics. He is equally proficient in any of these software packages. His working knowledge is such that he has also trained many engineers and designers in these packages all over USA, Canada and Mexico. In addition to his many years of experience in Design and Layout Management, he holds a Masters Degree in Operations Management at San Jose State University. Bob runs his own successful pcb service company under the name CA Design.
