Signal Integrity Workshop

Learn from experts in signal integrity test and measurement as they tackle challenging test cases during this inaugural workshop. Leading vendors in the field will contribute equipment and expertise to the workshop, which will use actual designs—including boards, backplanes, connectors, cables, and chips—as test cases. Volunteers will bring completed devices or prototypes to the workshop and allow their test case to be presented.

- Characterization of signal paths of fixture board used for 10 Gbps SerDes chip verification
- Develop method to remove fixturing effects to view actual chip waveform performance

- Measure, using TDR methods, the impact of crosstalk and impedance discontinuities on connector/cable assembly for SATA II, SAS, Infiniband
