Since January 1996, Mr. Roelandts has been president and chief executive officer of Xilinx. In August 2003, he was named chairman of the Board. Mr. Roelandts is actively involved in industry affairs, serving on the Board of Directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association, the Technology Network, and Applied Materials. He is also president of the Fabless Semiconductor Association. He frequently serves as a keynote speaker at industry conferences and trade shows and as a guest on financial and business television programs broadcast internationally.
