I/O Buffer Information Specification
(IBIS) Summit
Thursday, February 1, 2007 | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm(IBIS) Summit
(presentations begin at 8:30 am)
About the Program
The I/O Buffer Information Specification (IBIS) is an international standard for the exchange of analog behavioral data for digital I/O buffers to aid system signal integrity analysis. IBIS is supported by many EDA tools.
The IBIS Open Forum, which manages both the IBIS and IBIS interconnect modeling (ICM) specifications, is holding a summit meeting to discuss technical issues and the future direction of the standards. Scheduled presentation topics include modeling of USB and DDR2 buffers, IBIS algorithm improvements, and representing decision feedback engines using IBIS and VHDL-AMS.
Key Benefits
Delegates will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Gain the latest update of the most current information regarding design engineering theory, technique, and practical strategies
- Have access to the exhibition, keynote addresses, plenary panels, and the other parts of the conference
Registration
Attendance is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is strongly recommended. Contact Syed Huq at shuq@cisco.com to register. The event is co-sponsored by Cisco Systems and the International Engineering Consortium.

About IBIS
The IBIS Open Forum is the industry organization responsible for the management of the IBIS specification. The Open Forum meets every three weeks by teleconference. Membership is open to all interested companies. The Open Forum also holds IBIS summits several times per year around the world to give its members an opportunity to meet face-to-face, exchange technical information, and elect officers. Summit announcements and presentations are posted on IBIS' Web site; summit activities are also financed through member dues and sponsorships.
