Quellan designs and markets analog integrated circuits that dramatically improve the signal integrity of system interconnects. Specializing in Interference Noise Cancellers and Equalizers, Quellan's chips are embedded in line cards, connectors, cabling, or hand held devices to seamlessly improve existing infrastructure speed or platform density - all without the need to reinstall new system architectures.
Quellan products serve the Enterprise, Storage, Consumer, Broadcast, and Hand Held Device Markets.
The NX2400 provides a minimum of 6 dB of crosstalk cancellation per canceller and includes an integrated equalizer for each victim, which follows the cancellation summation node and compensates for the frequency-dependent loss characteristics of the backplane. Each equalizer is independently adjustable, enabling optimal jitter performance for each trace.
Quellan's EQ601 is primarily used for card-to-card and shelf-to-shelf interconnections between the nodes in communication systems. By performing active signal conditioning of attenuated NRZ data due to high frequency transmission medium losses, Quellan's EQ601 extends signal reach and increases channel throughput.
Quellan's programmable EQ601 outperforms fixed equalizers, which are insufficient to address all board traces. The EQ601 also outperforms adaptive equalizers, which tend to break control loops, by consistently providing error free jitter reduction across a wide range of applications.
