The Si9000e field solving transmission line design software uses Polar's friendly interface featuring nearly 100 well-known pre-configured structures to provide easy computation of important transmission line design parameters such as frequency dependent losses, skin resistance, impedances, RLGC and S-parameters. For convenience and productivity the Si9000e connects to Polar's SB200 Stackup Design System. Parameters are displayed both in graphical form and tables, as well as output in various file formats.

Quickly and easily build a PCB stackup using the SB200's Wizard then modify your design with substitutions, additions, deletions layer by layer. Apply finishing to take account of the effects of pressing and curing. Add drill illustrations and controlled impedance traces on the various layers. Maintain reliable and accurate records of the overall stack and of individual layers. The design rule checker monitors your work to immediately point out any rule violations. Now add controlled impedance traces to the layers of your choice by linking to the Polar Si8000m or Si9000e.
