· OptiClear SAS Internal Cable
OptiClear SAS is the smallest, most flexible internal SAS cable on the market today for 3.0GB and 6.0GB SAS applications. Consisting of (8) SkewClear 30 AWG 100 ohm data pairs and (8) sideband signals, the construction is cabled in a heat sealed tough polyester jacket. This package provides a very low profile cable, with abrasion and cut-through resistance for tight routing applications inside the box. See OptiClear SAS at booth 524
· Eye Opener Plus SkewClear Cables
Under exclusive license from W.L. Gore, Eye Opener Plus is a conductor technology that acts as a passive high pass filter to equalize receive signals. This is combined with Spectra-Strip's PE based SkewClear cable technology in many cable formats. The result: low cost copper cables that eliminate the need for discrete equalization components on a board. Constructions are available in 24, 26, 28, and 30 AWG versions. · EXD Cable
EXD is the Spectra-Strip trademark for its patent pending family of "Extended Distance" copper cables. Employing a unique shield design, EXD improves the high frequency attenuation response of copper cable, thus affording designers more flexibility in AWG size choice (and thus
cable flexibility). See EXD cable at booth 524
· Crossbow™ Matrix
Amphenol's Crossbow Matrix connector is the industry's first orthogonally optimized differential connector. Enabling speeds of 25Gbps, Crossbow is also the fastest connector available today. Designers can now take advantage of the benefits associated with orthogonal midplane architectures with the unique Crossbow design. Differential pairs on each side of the midplane share vias, helping to remove most electrical problems associated with the traditional backplane via stub. This includes eliminating cross-talk in the footprint, reflections, and impedance mismatches. The Crossbow Matrix's design features also eliminate the need for designers to compensate for skew and its negative electrical impacts with a skewless right angle female wafer.
