The aim of this TecForum is to provide practical guidance in maintaining design portability in two ways: avoiding implementation-specific design at an architectural level (e.g., IP choice, tool choice) and overcoming legacy implementation-specific problems (e.g., during FPGA prototyping or silicon retargeting).
