
Pallab Chatterjee

Prior to SiliconMap, Mr. Chatterjee served during the past 20 years as president and chief technology officer of P&D Engineering Consultants, Inc., an independent consulting firm specializing in mixed signal designs and design methodologies/CAD flows for mixed signal applications. His career has included participation in more than 400 production tapeouts in all process geometries and operation voltage conditions. In addition to his participation in SiliconMap, he is the founder and partner coordinator of the EDA Integration Alliance Partners program, which is an collection of tool vendors and other partners working on mixed signal and memory interoperability solutions.

Ron Wilson

As executive editor, Mr. Wilson manages EDN's technical editing staff and helps set the editorial direction for EDN's print edition, Web site, and e-mail newsletter program. Mr. Wilson joined EDN after almost 20 years of experience in the EOEM segment of the trade press, and 10 years in high-tech engineering and marketing positions. Most recently, he was the semiconductor editor for EE Times, and also served as its executive editor, bureau chief and senior technology editor.

Vipul Badoni

Mr. Badoni, who has been with Altera since March 2002, heads the High-Speed I/O Applications Engineering group. Before joining Altera, he was director of optical engineering at Nayna Networks, where he led the development of optical components for an all-optical cross-connect switch. Before that, he was at LSI Logic as manager for applications engineering for the GigaBlaze (high-speed serializer-deserializer) Core. Mr. Badoni started his career at Fujikura as a communications scientist, designing, testing, and manufacturing components for high-speed optical link modules. Mr. Badoni has a bachelor's in electronics and communication engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India; and an M.S.E.E. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a concentration in free space optics. He also has to his credit courses in the field of optical communications from Stanford University.

Randy Eager

Farhad Haghighi

Dr. Haghighi has worked in the semiconductor industry for more than 25 years focusing on analog and mixed signal/telecommunications products. After being in charge of telecom product lines and working at IDM and fabless companies, Mr. Haghighi founded TaraCom as a fables semiconductor company focusing on the gigabit transceiver space and, most recently, entering the SATA chipset marketplace.

John Isaac

Mr. Isaac has worked in the electronic design automation (EDA) industry with PCB and integrated circuit (IC) technology for more than 30 years. His career started with IBM, where he managed the development of EDA systems for IBM's internal design of their high-end ICs and PCBs. He then joined Mentor Graphics, where he was responsible for design kit development with ASIC vendors. Mr. Isaac is responsible for worldwide market development for the Systems Design division. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mr. Isaac received a bachelor's in electrical engineering.
Hemant Shah

Mr. Shah joined Cadence SPB division in late 2000. Before joining Cadence, Mr. Shah was at Xynetix Design Systems, Inc., where he was engineering director for advanced development for three years and product marketing director for EDAnavigator-a virtual prototyping tool for PCB systems-for four years. Before joining Xynetix, he held various engineering management roles at Intergraph Corporation for 12 years, including managing remote sites in India and Israel. Development of advanced PCB design tools ranged from front-end CAE tools (schematic capture, integration of third party tools for Verilog and VHDL design, logic simulation, hardware acceleration from IKOS, ZyCAD, PLD/FPGA tools from Minc, data I/O and synthesis tools from AT&T Bell Labs) to PCB layout tools (interactive placement and routing, automatic placement, and router). He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in computer science.
