The inaugural NanoEngineering TecForum at DesignCon 2003 was a huge success, presenting the latest information on nanoscale research, its current and future applications on engineering, and the subsequent retraining of hundreds of thousands of engineering professionals throughout the next 10 to 15 years.
Among those in attendance were department heads, chief technology officers, chief executive officers, vice presidents, program directors, research directors, engineering managers, engineers, and others-all leading the way in peer interaction among pioneers in nanoscale research and business strategy during the TecForum's networking breaks.
Sandeep Malholtra, Aredesta, Vice President of Corporate and Business Development in Nanotechnology, delivered the luncheon keynote address to a packed room of more than 300 engineering professionals, presenting the opportunities facing industry and investors.
Always on the cutting edge of technology and business, technology and business leaders representing Silicon Valley converged at DesignCon 2003 to present an engaging plenary panel on the Challenges at 90 Nanometers.
More than 40 leading organizations presented their nanotechnology activities and programs at the Nanotechnology Information eXchange (NIX). The amount information delivered and business cards passed out has inspired many other organizations to be NIX participants at the NanoEngineering World Forum in Boston, June 23-25, 2003.
